I’m so glad you are here!

I’m Elli. A dietitian located in Kansas City that specializes in eating disorder/disordered eating recovery. I have a passion for helping people find their path to food freedom and live their best life possible. Even if you do not struggle with an eating disorder, I would love to help guide you to finding the path to becoming your healthiest self.

I have been a dietitian in the Kansas City area since 2017 specializing in eating disorders and general wellness. I hold a BS in dietetics from Kansas State University and am licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. I have experience working with clients of all ages in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care. I currently work in an outpatient setting and also run nutrition groups and meal support in Bellatore’s intensive outpatient program.

I have always had a passion for healthy eating and nourishing my body, but throughout my schooling to become a dietitian, I noticed I was not feeling my best. I was constantly fatigued, having stomach issues, unmotivated and feeling physically drained. I was going to school to become a dietitian yet felt confused as to how I was supposed to help others feel their best when I was feeling my worst. I started questioning if I made the right decision to become a dietitian and felt like I was missing something.

That’s when I came across the book Intuitive Eating and everything started to “click” for me. I had been sticking to the textbook definition of health and had not learned to fully trust and listen to my own body’s needs. I started eating more often, including a variety of foods, and truly listening to my body and soon started feeling like a better version of myself. I found that health is much more than just “clean” eating and exercise, but has many aspects that I was ignoring for far too long. I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be--helping others find food freedom and feel their best.

My goal is to help you learn how to get back to trusting your body and start listening to what it has been telling you all along.
